Leslie Byars Register left her native home of Mayfield, Kentucky, to study art, her passion since early childhood. After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Art degree from the University of Alabama, she started searching for a way to use her education, ending up as a senior photo stylist for Southern Living magazine for nine years. Since then, Leslie has contributed as a freelance stylist to many other well-known publications such as Cooking Light, Oxmoor House Publishing, Cooking with Paula Deen, special interest publications for Pillsbury and Betty Crocker, and Birmingham Home and Garden magazine. With the combination of art and good food, entertaining came easy. Leslie has had a long yearning to share these skills with others. Leslie’s Party Diaries is a revelation of a variety of exciting parties, pretty decorations, and delicious food.
